Gunners Place offers community spaces and consultation rooms for hire in a central Gungahlin location.

  • Hire options for community and government organisations

  • A variety of spaces for hire, including an open community space and consultation rooms

  • A kitchenette equipped with appliances and utensils for catering or refreshments

  • Amenities such as restrooms, air conditioning/heating, and Wi-Fi

  • Entertainment facilities, including table tennis, air hockey, and a TV 

  • A central location in Gungahlin, close to several dining option​

Short-Term Hire

Gunners Place offers flexible short-term hire options, providing an ideal space for workshops, meetings, and other group activities or events.

Gunners Place offers flexible consultation room hire, providing a private and professional space for meetings, client consultations, or one-on-one sessions.

Important information regarding availability:

  • Gunners Place is a vibrant community hub hosting numerous activities and events throughout the week. As such, venue hire is subject to availability.

  • Availability is reduced during the school holidays due to our dedicated school holiday programs. 

  • We strongly advice booking in advance as last-minute bookings may not be possible.

  • Gunners Place is shared by four partnership organisations who often utilise the venue during business hours.

  • Availability may be dependent on their use of the space, with the schedule as follows: Monday - Northside Community Service, Tuesday - Relationships Australia, Wednesday - Barnardos Australia, Thursday - Multicultural Hub, and Friday - Barnardos Australia.

  • Please refer to the calendar below for an indication of available dates. However, please note the calendar is subject to change, and all booking are subject to approval by the partnership organisations, particularly on their designated days. ​
