Gunners Place is a vibrant youth and community space dedicated to the Gungahlin community. Our space is modern, comfortable, and engaging and is used for youth activities and community hire.

We are a consortium of Barnardos Australia, Northside Community Service, Multicultural Hub, and Relationships Australia Canberra & Region. Each partner has a dedicated day to provide programs and activities for their communities in Gungahlin.

Our partners collaboratively run school holiday programs and a regular youth drop-in every Wednesday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and the first Friday of each month from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. during the school semester. The drop-in is staffed by friendly and approachable youth workers who are happy to talk, hang out, and support young people aged 12 to 25.

 

In addition to providing youth activities; Gunners Place is available for hire by community groups, organisations, or businesses needing a space to hire in Gungahlin.

Gunners Place has something for everyone: Kitchen, accessible toilet, meeting facilities, table tennis, a pool table, Pac-Man, air hockey, board and card games, a large TV, Nintendo Switch, a car racing simulator, art supplies, and bean bags.​​
